For Her, For Love

Today was a normal day with internet, online game FPS, MMO, web-based you named it, and yeah when it comes to a holiday like today I turned out become a game freak and complete nerd sitting hour by hour in front of computer doing stuffes most of them are worthless.

my only one beloved girlfriend Yozi Ananda putri asked me to retouch some of  photographs of her shot by her friend, FYI Yozi or Oji are pretty interested in photography but no as crazy as me and she got a much better gear, a NIKON D90 with 18-105mm lense, that's her father's camera but she can use it if she need it.

Oji e-mailed me some of her photos and I download the file as soon as possible because I got nothing to do and when it comes to photos or pictures I always get interested, and quickly opened my Lightroom 4.

You know, when it comes to your girlfriend, the one that you love you'll never want to make her dissapointed and do your best to show the world that she is your beautiful girl through the pictures.

after few hours of work in Lightroom and Photoshop Cs I finished retouching her photographs and posted on Facebook. so here they are:

PS: those are not my shot, but I did the editing and my girlfriend already let me use my watermark on her photos

#1 Model Shoot

Just like the tittle said this post going to be a short story about my first of all time taking a pictures with model, it's nearly 1 year after I bought my first DLSR beloved NIKON D3100 with Kit lense 18-55mm a very low end equipment I thought. But every high end things start with the low one, right? I am thankful for the equipment I have, and absolutely won't make any excuse based from it.
Here's come the day that my friend a fellow amateur photographer asked me if I want to join him to take photos of a model that his friend have. well., from a friend to another friend. no doubt. I said Yes. and this is my chance to apply all the knowledge I've got from reading bunch of article in some photography site. such as: http://digital-photography-school.com/ < my favorite site in learning photography. so many knowledge you can get from this site, everyday surfing over thousands of images in 500px.com , Flickr, PhotoShelter and etc.
Yeah, here come the real challenge to apply all of those stuff. about the model she goes with the same highschool of mine and we already now each other in social med. her name is Dila a beautiful 18years old girl, wearing white long dress to the location. "it's perfect" i was talking to myself. just like what I've imagined.

we start with a lil small chat with the model, among my fellow friends I was the only one who has special interest in portrait photography the other love landsacape and macro photography.

It was an unforgetable moment, this is our first time having a chance to shot a model (you can say that) and it's also the first time for the model to get her pictures taken by photographer. so it's kinda funny when all the people trapped in awkward moment. I try to have conversation with the model and make her as comfortable as I can so we can get a nice shot of her.

most of the post processing done with adobe lightroom 4 and a lil bit photoshop cs. that was a wonderful moment and mean so much to me, thank's for my friend Nando, Jerry, Dani and some photographer of KFD (komunitas fotografer Dharmasraya) and also for our beautiful model that day Dila.
